Cooling

State-of-the-art technology delivers therapeutic cooling without ice. The most convenient way to apply cold therapy.

Compression

Customizable compression greatly improves the effeciveness of cold therapy and promotes healing.

Recovery

By combining the therapeutic benefits of cooling and compression in a single, easy-to-use device, recovery times are greatly improved.

Revolutionary Technology

Compressive cryotherapy is not the "newest radical fad." In fact, cold treatment and active compression devices have existed for years but innovations have fallen short. Due to this, NICE1 was born. The team at NICE worked with top surgeons, engineers, industrial designers, and, most importantly, patients to create a device that the market demanded. You spoke; they listened.

Why Cryo-Compression was
Prescribed After Surgery

Whether you experienced a work related injury or suffered a bone fracture during the big game, "icing an injury" has nearly become second nature. Surprisingly, it wasn't until the mid-80's that virtually every physician began recommending R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) after an injury or operation. To date, this still remains the standard home remedy for treating soft tissue injuries.

However, most people don't know that unregulated cold applications may result in significant and irreversible tissue damage.

Though applying ice directly to an injured area can help to reduce inflammation, human tissue can only withstand so much. The application of cold ice triggers the body's natural response to limit blood flow to the affected area. By reducing blood flow, you limit the amount of inflammation and inflammatory mediators, which reduces swelling. In theory, icing via "ice cubes, ice packs, or ice machines" seems adequate, but when unregulated, these applications can lead to further complications.

Sustained an Injury? We can help.
